While Naples is by far one of the prettiest places to take a vacation, I can absolutely say with confidence that Venice is better.  Not only is Venice one of the main cities in Italy but the waterway that divides the city up is absolutely breathtaking.  The waterways in Venice act more like a novelty than anything.  They are basically the roads in Venice. 

While the scenes are right out of a painting it seems, the beautiful landscape is just the beginning when you enter Venice.  There is also the food, the shopping, the hotels and of course all of the people.  People in Venice are very, very nice, so warm, so welcoming and certainly some of the best!

So if you are looking for a cool, chic and hip vacation – Venice is the place for you!

Now that we have talked a little bit about Italy, let’s go ahead and switch gears and go over to Austria!  Austria is one of those places that you never … ever want to leave.  It is not only beautiful but the cities are absolutely incredible looking!  From Hallstatt all the way to Salzburg, you know that Austria is certainly going to surprise you!

Austria is actually one of the best places if you are looking to gain a little culture.  Not only was this the home of Mozart, but the beautiful city of Vienna is absolutely breathtaking and filled with everything from rose gardens all the way to operas.

If you want beauty, Austria is the place for you to head!

What is the most romantic place in the world?  To me – it’s Naples, Italy.  Personally, I think that Naples is one of those places that not only looks great in any picture that you see but the sights that are in Naples are absolutely incredible.  Whether you are looking to make a statement in fashion or you are looking to do a little shopping, I think that Naples is one of those places where you can do it all!

Naples is also one of the best places to stay in because of the hotels!  The hotels in Naples, Italy are absolutely beautiful and certainly look amazing inside and out.  Also, the food – Italian food in general is something so perfect and tasty but when you get it in Italy – there is nothing like it!

So go on – take yourself on vacation and get yourself a room in Naples Italy!

Did you know that Brussels is actually the capital of Belgium, Europe and Flanders?  Did you also know that this beautiful place is a fantastic place for a vacation?  Well – it is!  Taking a Brussels vacation is by far one of the best things and if you are a foodie – like me, you will love it!  There a ton of different restaurants as well as some beautiful cuisine offered up in Brussels. 

There are a few things that you need to know whenever you go to Brussels.  For one, you want to make sure that you walk everywhere versus getting stuck in the throngs of traffic.  Brussels is very packed – so traffic is terrible, keep that in mind.

Also, you want to make sure that you do your research.  Like I said, there are a ton of restaurants and honestly, you want to make sure that you hit the very best ones while you are there!

Having a wintertime wedding is something that is so beautiful and magically and it can truly be a special time for the bride and the groom – if you have the right location that it.  Finding a location for your winter wedding is something that can be difficult, however it is not impossible.  That is exactly what we are here for!

By far, some of the most beautiful destinations for a winter wedding are going to be Michigan or even Ohio.  These two states get some beautiful snow and if you truly looking for something that is going to have snowy-white-goodness, these two states can really help you out.  However, New York in the winter is definitely a great location as well.

The fall is upon us now – I woke up this morning and it was 57 degrees out in Michigan and I have to say that I love this time of year.  Everything is richer, everything is better and the smells and scents are absolutely beautiful.  I am not the only one that thinks this because autumn weddings are actually becoming more and more popular nowadays!

Now, when you are having a fall wedding … where should you have it?  Well, that is the question that we are going to answer for you.  New England is best place in the world to get married if you are an autumn bride – the reason?  It is absolutely beautiful in the fall!  The foliage is in full bloom and honestly, it looks breathtaking!

If you are getting married and love the fall, New England is the place for your fall wedding – I can assure you of that!

When you are looking for a hotel package – it is difficult to find one that not only meets all of your needs, but one that is actually good.  As you know, there are a ton of different websites out there that boast that their hotel package is the best, but how do you know that it is the best?  Well, that is exactly what we are going to tell you about, so make sure that you pay attention!

The first thing that you need to do, is check the TravelPost rate calendar which is available on every hotel page – that way you can make sure that the rate that you are getting for your hotel package is going to be the best one and that they are not trying to scam you.  Before booking a hotel package using some sort of promo code – do a regular search on the website.

To be honest, some of the best packages are the ones that are not promoted, so make sure that you check that out.  Also, checking on Facebook and Twitter is something that will really, really help you find the best deal out there!

Now that we have talked about the specific hotels that have internet fees, let’s talk about how you truly can avoid those fees.  One of the biggest things that you can do is joining onto their clubs.  For example, Marriott has Marriott Rewards – you can become a member and if you are an avid traveler, you will gain statuses, Silver, Gold and Platinum – once you get to the highest, you may be able to get free internet as a perk.

Another thing that you can do is invest in a device like Apple AirPort Express, which actually allows you to share your wireless connection with up to ten other people, so if you are traveling with someone, you just have to pay the one fee and you will be able to share that same connection – it definitely helps.

Finally, you have nothing to lose by asking the hotel staff to remove the charges.  You could make a deal with them – for example, do not eat breakfast and have them take the charges off, some hotels might do it!

Internet fees are something that everyone has to deal with – until you realize that there is a ton of different ways that you can avoid them.  If you think that you are the only person in the world that has problems paying internet fees, think again darling because there are a ton of people out there that are sick and tired of hotels charging for internet.

Most of the time, full-service hotels, which feature a bar, restaurant and tons of amenities along with a high room rate, are the ones that are also charging for internet service.  This does not make sense to me at all, because lower-class hotels with a cheaper room rate and free internet are usually right around the corner.

If you are having similar frustrations, you can seriously avoid these fees and still stay in an awesome hotel!  You just have to follow some steps, which we are going to outline in the next blog!

Preparing your kids for the trip the family will be taking is the first step to easing the burden and making sure that everyone has a fun and frustration free time.

You can start out by planning before you ever go on your trip. For the kids who can read, get them some books detailing some facts about your destination. For those who cannot read, then just read to them a little bit. This is especially good if you are traveling to an historical site or a foreign country. Any pictures of the place are a great idea as well. This endeavor can also reduce any possible feelings of culture shock.
