While most people simply do not think that Orlando would be dog-friendly at all, it definitely is! Not only can you kennel the dog at Disney World, Universal Studios or Sea World while you are inside of these places, but there are many, many different things that you can do with your dog around Orlando. For example, just taking in the amazing looking beaches in Orlando is a fantastic way to entertain yourself and keep your dog close to your!

If you are not a fan of the beach but you do like the water, why not head on over to Lake Eloa Park and take a boat out on the lake? Boats are definitely dog-friendly and they certainly would love to be able to stick their head out of the side of the boat while it is going!

As you can definitely see, there are many things that you can do with your pooch in Orlando, all you need to do is take a little time and planning and you’ll absolutely be able to bring your puppy with you on vacation!

The first thing you really need to know when traveling with your dog is ask yourself does Buddy really need to go. Remember that there are potential hazards that your dog may encounter during travel.

List down the things you want to do and places you want to visit. If your itinerary does not allow you to be with your dog majority of the time, then it may be best not to bring your dog.

If things really have a green light, ask your veterinarian for travel tips that will benefit your dog. The animal doctor may consider briefing you about weather conditions, documentation, first aid kit, and other essentials.

Air Travel

Make sure that you coordinate everything from the required travel crate. Don’t forget to put your contact info on your dog’s collar just in case he ends up somewhere else. You also need to ask the airline if they will require other dog accessories.

Car Travel

Number one rule is never to leave your dog unattended in your car. Another important thing is to always turn on climate control since most dogs are prone to heat strokes. You may also want to consider getting seat belts or crates that may make traveling comfortable for a man’s best friend.

Dog Hotels

There are a lot of hotels offering their best pampering and services for our canine friends. A lot of hotels are also now allowing pets. It is important though that you follow any visitor and pet guidelines that they have so you will not cause any inconvenience to other travelers.

There will be times that you really can’t bring your dog with you. You can ask a friend to take care of your dog or go to a boarding house for pets who will be more than willing to take care of your pawed friend.
