Specifically, we look towards Killington, Vermont, which now boasts seven mountains, thanks to the addition of the incredibly unique Pico.

In the eastern United States, Killington is without a doubt the biggest ski destination. With just one lift ticket, you have access to no less than two hundred trails.

Furthermore, this is a very dependable destination. Killington likes to say that it has greater snow making coverage than any other eastern resort has in actually, ski worthy terrain.

And after skiing, hey, you can enjoy some sauna time, you can eat at one of the hundred restaurants around the area, and you get to enjoy all the inherent, unquestionable beauty that New England has to offer.

However, by all accounts and reviews from ski enthusiasts, the town of Solitude, Utah, boasts some really spectacular skiing. Just as the name of the resort location suggests, you can enjoy all kinds of tranquility when you plan your holiday in Solitude.

The lift lines are not long, the runs are not crowded, and the views of the vistas are nothing less than panoramic. Coming from a summit of over ten thousand feet, they should be absolutely stunning!

The resort features over a thousand acres, sixty four ski trails, and twelve miles designed for perfect cross country skiing.

Given the fact that Solitude is only about thirty five miles away from the Salt Lake City International Airport, it is a very convenient destination as well.

Specifically, we are focusing on Corolla, North Carolina, which is a wonderful holiday destination where you can spend the month of August in a languorous state of warm relaxation.

Corolla is located past the quaint town of Duck, known for its “shoppes.” The difference, however, is that the charming quality of Corolla is in no way forced or put upon. It is part of the gorgeous Outer Banks, but it holds a distinction.

There remains twelve miles of beaches and dunes which are semi protected. They are just north of the town. Here, you may even get to see what is sometimes considered the final terrain of the state’s wild horses.

Ah, San Francisco. The romantic fog rolling in over the bay. The infamous Golden Gate Bridge. The lights, the sights, the hordes of friendly people. The rainbow of ethnicities, cultures, and colors. The diversity. The intrigue of Fisherman’s Wharf. The open mindedness. The leftover vestiges of hippie love. The tolerance. The peace, the tranquility, the inherent beauty, where nature mixes with modern. The crazy streets, winding up and up and up, the rollercoaster thrill ride of driving down on the other side. Honestly, is there anything about San Francisco that is not awesome?

There is quite literally something for everyone. Naturally, you can play the tourist at any number of different locations, not just Fisherman’s Wharf. You can also explore Chinatown, and all of those magically whimsical houses on that infamous, topsy turvy street. There are neighborhoods to suit every taste and every preference, and so much to see that you could stay there for two months and never, ever be bored.

When most people think of going to California, they imagine the ritzier places — Palm Springs and cities of that ilk — or the truly famous ones, like Los Angeles. The big difference between those places and San Francisco is culture. San Francisco is real, it is down; the people there you meet there, just as you walk down the street or take a ride in a cable car, will instantly seem like friends you’ve known your whole life.

I know what a lot of you are probably thinking — where the heck is White Sulfur Springs? The answer is: it’s in West Virginia. Before you start groaning and imagining scenes from Deliverence, let me assure you that you definitely will not have to worry about anything like that. White Sulfure Springs is the home of The Greenbrier, an amazing five star resort set right in the middle of the beautiful West Virginian mountains. You may actually have heard of this resort — it has an underground hideaway for Congress, meant for protection. In fact, ever since the days of Ike Eisenhower, every president of the United States has stayed in The Greenbrier’s presidential suite.

It has been in business since 1778. It offers a variety of activities and entertainment, in both warm weather and cold weather. In the winter, for example, you can hunt, fish, hike, go on sleigh rides, and any number of other things — when, of course, you are not enjoying the luxurious amenities offered inside of the resort, such as the spa and the indoor swimming pool.

Speaking from experience, there is nothing more beautiful than West Virginia in the winter time. The mountains, the landscape, the resort, even the quaint little town of White Sulfur Springs will all combine to take your breath away.

You simply cannot keep a good city down, no matter how hard you try. For that matter, New Orleans is more than just a city. It is an institution. It is a piece of history richer than the sweetest dish of creme brulee, more exciting than the wildest celebration of Fat Tuesday’s to ever take place. Hurricane Katrina may have tried to take this city down, but people all over the United States — indeed, all over the world, just about — banded together to help rebuild it and make it even better than what it was.

New Orleans is a phoenix, rising from the ashes of tragedy even stronger than it has ever been. That is reason enough for New Orleans to make this top 5 list, but it is certainly not the only reason this vibrant, culturally rich city is the perfect location of a warm winter holiday.

If you wait a little while longer, for instance, you could have the opportunity to experience Mardi Gras, which is definitely something all of us should try to do at least once in our lifetime. Not only that, but you will get to experience history. You will have the unique distinction of paying homage to the past while seeing what the future has in store.

It is the tail end of January. It is freezing cold. Up north, in the United States and Canada, there is snow everywhere. So, a lot of folks are dreaming about a winter holiday in some warm, sultry location. Believe it or not, you can save a lot by vacationing in the winter time — prices are lower, it is less expensive to travel, and you won’t have to deal with a lot of tourists. You may not be able to jump the pond or anything, but if you live in North or South America, there are some great places in the United States you could visit — beginning with beautiful Savannah, Georgia.

This sultry southern city is the epitome of genteel hospitality, culture, and an unquestionable joi de vivre. Furthermore, it is full of intriguing history, as you no doubt know if you have ever seen or read Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.

Stay in a gracious old bed and breakfast so you can enjoy Savannah’s infamous squares up close and personally. Keep an eye out for the marvelous Lady Chablis, ponder the meaning of “destination unknown,” visit the grave of good old Jim Williams in nearby Macon. Make sure that you drink plenty of mint juleps and wile away some of these cold winter months in the sensual sunshine seen in Savannah.

Going to Las Vegas, especially for the first time, is a one of a kind experience. It is something you will remember for your whole life. That is why so many visitors choose to rent luxury cars in Las Vegas. They don’t call it Sin City for nothing. It is a city of excess, of indulgence, of fun and excitement. It is the kind of city where you are almost required by law to do the kinds of things you would not normally do. Exotic Car Rentals in Las Vegas is part of the Las Vegas Experience!

For example, when most of us travel to another city, unless we are well to do or have been saving up for the trip, we typically choose to stay in the most affordable hotel we can find. Las Vegas, however, has some of the most ritzy, opulent, and decadent hotels in the world, and more often than not, when you visit Sin City, you want to stay in the best of the best.

It really only stands to reason that you should want to rent the most luxurious car you can find when you visit Las Vegas. You will want to cruise up and down the strip in style. This is the one place in the world where, if you want to be a High Roller, you can act like one. You can look like one too – honestly, why do you think so many people rent luxury cars in Las Vegas? Why do you think they stay at the most dazzling hotels?
