Let’s Plan Our Holiday

Now it is time to go stateside — to the United States, that is. Specifically, we are focusing on Corolla, North Carolina, which is a wonderful holiday destination where you can spend the month of August in a languorous state of warm relaxation.

Corolla is located past the quaint town of Duck, known for its “shoppes.” The difference, however, is that the charming quality of Corolla is in no way forced or put upon. It is part of the gorgeous Outer Banks, but it holds a distinction.

There remains twelve miles of beaches and dunes which are semi protected. They are just north of the town. Here, you may even get to see what is sometimes considered the final terrain of the state’s wild horses.
