I know what a lot of you are probably thinking — where the heck is White Sulfur Springs? The answer is: it’s in West Virginia. Before you start groaning and imagining scenes from Deliverence, let me assure you that you definitely will not have to worry about anything like that. White Sulfure Springs is the home of The Greenbrier, an amazing five star resort set right in the middle of the beautiful West Virginian mountains. You may actually have heard of this resort — it has an underground hideaway for Congress, meant for protection. In fact, ever since the days of Ike Eisenhower, every president of the United States has stayed in The Greenbrier’s presidential suite.
It has been in business since 1778. It offers a variety of activities and entertainment, in both warm weather and cold weather. In the winter, for example, you can hunt, fish, hike, go on sleigh rides, and any number of other things — when, of course, you are not enjoying the luxurious amenities offered inside of the resort, such as the spa and the indoor swimming pool.
Speaking from experience, there is nothing more beautiful than West Virginia in the winter time. The mountains, the landscape, the resort, even the quaint little town of White Sulfur Springs will all combine to take your breath away.

Being raised in Botetourt County, I am interested on information about the secret underground railway and room for govt officials that was at one time open to the public for a short while. Please e-mail info or website that I can go to. I have been living in California for the last 18 months.
