In Italy, one of the most celebrated festivals in the world is the Carnival of Venezia and folks, it is coming up fast!  The festivities start on February 14th and go all the way through the weekend.  This wonderful festival has been around for centries and if you are looking to go to Italy on vacation next month, you definitely need to make sure that you stop by the Carnival!  The masks are amazing, the food is unbelievable and honestly, it is a chance in a lifetime to get to experience this beautiful festival. 

Not only is this a time to dress up and laugh, put on a mask and change yourself but it is also a great time to see Italy at its finest!  For the Carnival of Venezia, everyone rolls out the red carpet and to be honest, it is definitely quite a sight to see.  I must warn you though!  You do have to book in advance, there are a lot of hotels that may be sold out and you want to make sure to get a great room!
