Seychelles - breathtaking archipelago

March 14th, 2008 · No Comments

The archipelago of the Seychelles consists of 115 Islands situated in the Indian Ocean about 1600km east of the African mainland. The climate is tropical, fortunately way out of reach of the tropical cyclone belt. Neighboring islands are Mauritius, Madagascar, Réunion, Comoros and Maldives.

SEYCHELLESThe most populated islands are situated around Mahé, home the Capital, Victoria. Here you can find the best beaches of the world, some framed by granite boulders, others with warm white sand all surrounded by turquoise waters. Ideal for heavenly relaxation, but of course snorkelling these waters you are sure to encounter some breathtaking natural wonders. Marine life can be spectacular. During your stay you must practice some island-hopping for they all have to offer so much natural beauty. There are two Unesco World Heritage Sites: the island of Aldabra (the world’s largest coral atoll) and the Vallée de Mai on Praslin Island, which could well be called the Garden of Eden.

Giant tortoises, exceptional colonies of seabirds, endemic plants as Coco de mer palm, the Jellyfish tree, and spectacular coral islands would indeed suggest this to be Eden’s Garden. With first class accommodations and luxurious Resorts this archipelago must be Paradise.
